    • Avaí Futebol Clube es un modesto club que vuelve a la elite del fútbol brasileño después de casi 30 años, tras el ascenso reciente a la Serie A
    • En la Serie B es el escolta del campeón Corinthians con números admirables
    • El histórico Avaí es sinónimo de humildad: sus jugadores son desconocidos. Su entrenador es el ex futbolista y devoto de Dios, Paulo Silas, que demostró competencia y bajo perfil. Su hincha más famoso es Gustavo Kuerten, considerado el atleta más querido de Brasil, y además, la “casa” de Avaí está localizada en la isla de Florianópolis, Estado de Santa Catarina, región paradisíaca que actualmente sufre a causa de graves inundaciones.
